CAMPING  One of the most popular ways to experience EAA AirVenture is to camp, whether it’s drive-in camping in Camp Scholler or setting up your tent under the wing of your own airplane.   You’re located right on the AirVenture grounds and a part of the unique community of aviation enthusiasts.   A three-day minimum is required and at least one person in your party must be an EAA member.

There are lots of real estate investment opportunities out there.

SO HOW DO YOU PICK THE RIGHT ONE

    OSHKOSH WI EAA 65TH FLY-IN

                 JULY 24 – 30, 2017

Having relatives living nearby I have had a different perspective of Experimental Aircraft Association than most attendees.  The annual air show brings many aviation enthusiasts to Oshkosh each year, more than the local hotels can handle.  Even before Air BnB some people rented their homes, rooms and/or campers to visitors looking for a place to sleep.  Wittman Regional Airport no longer has scheduled flights, yet it is very busy during EAA.  Here are some excerpts from the official website and some personal pictures of planes and happenings.

If you are looking for a place to eat in Oshkosh a few of my favorites are:

Parnell’s for broasted chicken, The Chalace everything is good; The Roxy for a nice super club; Leon’s Drive In for old fashion atmosphere and frozen custard.

EAA annually attracts 500,000 visitors from more than 70 nations and in excess of 10,000 aircraft to the weeklong event. Next year’s dates are July 23 – 29, 2018.

2017 featured Blue Origin * On Nov. 23, 2015, New Shepard became the 1st rocket to ascend above the Karman line and successfully return to Earth for a vertical landing. The same booster made four subsequent flights in 2016—on Jan. 22, April 2, June 19 and Oct. 5.  Successfully demonstrating the reuse of a rocket for the first time. EAA attendees got an up-close look at the historic rocket.

EAA Air Show Daily - July 24-29, 2017: 2:30-6 p.m. & Sunday, July 30, 2017: 1-4:30 p.m.   Night Air Shows - Wednesday, July 26 and Saturday, July 29: 8-10 p.m.  AirVenture’s daily air shows featured a vast variety in today’s world of flight - precision aerobatics, the latest innovations, rare and unique flying examples, and history coming alive through warbird and vintage showcases.  The Blue Angels flew their shows on Friday, and Saturday July 28, and 29.

By understanding your long term goals  & putting a complete plan in place to achieve them.  As an experienced real estate professional & investor I know how to guide you into real estate properties that will suit your needs. I won’t push you into buying the bigger, more expensive property; one with the larger carrying cost and smaller demographic; if that property doesn’t fit your overall investment strategy.  It’s pretty simple, what you want is what you’ll get.

EAA AVIATION MUSEUM  The EAA Aviation Museum is located along U.S. 41 in Oshkosh, just south of Wis. 44 (S Park Ave.) adjacent to Wittman  Airport. The museum has a collection of more than 200 historic aircraft.
